Really late...
Still, this turned out great. Easily the best comic page yet. Really encouraging for future projects. Messing around with SFX was particularly satisfying. Typography has never been something I was interested in, but I am coming around to the appeal.

Meet cute... a innocuous name for a brutal experience. Meeting new people is always fraught with danger. The awkwardness, the socially encouraged touching (pandemic notwithstanding), the exchanging of insurance information. Nobody likes doing it. But meeting someone for the first time, solely for narrative convenience, is the worst. Lost dogs found. Flat tires repaired. Combative shopping experiences romantically resolved. The twists of fate have never been so knotted. And for what. A lifelong partnership founded on an embarrassing story that delights audiences of all ages. Pfft. Give me a dating app any day. No surprises involved in that romantic experience. Just upfront communication, mutual attraction, and respect all around.
