Me too! I remember staying up late to finish the Caracol dungeon just because I really wanted to meet him for the first time in game (I got lost - a lot! I had no idea where I was going XD)

Omg I got lost there too and then found out the party is underleveled so I ran the whole way back and then had to crawl through the whole dungeon again. In this game, there's no way one can have an idea where he's going xDD

Yeah, definitely! Sometimes, raw sketches are much more expressive than the final render, and are better left alone.

I know right? It's SO FRIGGIN HARD. It's making me go crazy past few years. You either leave it or try to render it - as you said - somewhere in between. BUT then you have urges to polish everything and slip into neverending rendering which changes the pic completely. And then there's only loss of time and regret TT TT Omg I'm so emo xDD

I actually feel I lose a lot of line movement if I try to pretty up my sketches too much... it makes me sad, but there's not much I can do about it! And it's even worse when my bad scanner doesn't do its job right! All that hard work I put into the lines just goes *poof* I sorta get complimented for my "smooth" and "clean" pencil lines, but I also want to hear that people love my linework. Ahhh, the artist stuggles, right?
Style can be such a pain in the butt. It's ALSO hard to find the perfect balance between your own style and any influences you have at the time. So tough! (Also, sorry for the late response.. I got caught up with multiple things!)
