Description

Pafu Drachens are a closed species by me! Please do not make your own unless I explicitly give you permission or you have special privileges that allows you to make one. All extra info regarding Pafu Drachens can be found in the group PafuPuffs

Pronunciation guide-

Pafu (pay-foo)
Japanese for puff.

Drachen (dræ-hen)
This is german for dragon, so the ch isn't pronounced like it is in English. Its really hard to explain in words because in the English language we don't have this sound, but the closest way I can explain it is a soft h sound?

Pafu Drachens can also be called Pachens, Pafus, or Drachens for short! They can also just be called Puff Dragons since that is what Pafu Drachens translates to in English.

ORBS-
Each Pafu has a magical orb with them that allows them to stay alive. The orb acts almost as a genie lamp, and the Pafu can go into a dormant state where their spirit energy is contained within the orb. They do this to replenish energy, hibernate, or if they just feel like retreating into their personal space. A Pafu always has a connection to its orb in some way, whether it has a shrine dedicated to it, or if it just always carries it around, a Pafu cannot lose its orb or it will die. If a Pafu's orb breaks, it will also die.

Fire and Smoke-
Pafu Drachens can breath fire, but they mostly puff out clouds of magical smoke. The smoke usually smells very pleasant, and is normally sparkly. Their fire and smoke can vary in colors and traits.

Creation and Death-
A Pafu can only be created through special circumstances. They can only be created by a ritual done by a witch or wizard, or created by Calamos himself. When a Pafu dies its body is not left behind, it turns into smoke and disappears. The orb it once had does stay behind, however it loses all of its magical essence and turns a very dull color.

Traits-
Traits for these guys will work differently then most species!
I wont have any list of set traits with set rarities, I'll just leave that up to you guys. If there's a trait that people like more then others, then naturally that trait will go up in value. But other then that, there will be no set value or rarity to traits, it will just be left up to what people like and dislike.

Another note-
Pafu Drachens are a closed species, but if you want to make characters inspired by them I honestly don't care! Just please don't blatantly copy them or claim them to be official Pafu Drachens. The only way to get an official Pafu Drachen is through me, any Drachens that are not on the species masterlist are not official.
