Description Done completely in paint. Took a long time.

Update:

Apparently people are accusing me of a copying and cheating bastard because I based this pose for hinata off of a pose :devashperado: used. So there you go, I based the pose off of his painting right here: [link]

Why taking so long to COPY something, come up with something original instead

So because I painted in a pose that someone else has already done I'm copying it? If I wanted to just copy it I wouldn't ever bother drawing and painting this, I would just go to his gallery, copy and paste his art, then put my name on it. I liked how he did his drawing so I based mine off of it.

And I did this a year ago, jeesh. All your art is fanart and you're telling me to come up with something original? If it bothers you and you're friend so much then I'll say the pose was based off his art.

Before you say I only do fanart take the time to look at my personal gallery *Lain-Luscious where I have all my original stuff

Regarding your drawing, the pose is exactly the same, the character is the same, the outfit is the same as the one *vashperado did, even the colours, the positioning of the character in the workspace, the katakana for her name, etc. You did nothing original with this picture.

Using something as a base means that you add something of your own, and just take what you need from the other picture, but you still put your own effort to it. But this is not the case.

Copying and pasting art is not "copying art", that's just plain stealing, and plain stupid.

All I'm saying, that you didn't seem to understand quite that well, is that it seems pointless to take so long to copy something, when you could create something of your own (even based on something) and then all the credit goes to you, one can see your own original art, which is why this site exists, to see original art, even of other people's characters, Fanart doesn't mean unoriginal, that's just a misconception.

I think *vashperado couldn't care any less about this because it happens every ten seconds, but my message wasn't pointing to that.

If vashperado has a problem with it then I'll talk to him. I really don't care if you have any issues with it since you didn't make the picture. If it bothers you so dearly then please be my guest and report me to deviantART help desk and they will review your case and make a decision about it.

Sorry, but you need to give credit to the original artist, vaspherado.
