Four heroes who, in the face of their darkest hour, have not only achieved greater things, but have earned the title as legends.

Twilight Sparkle: Inadvertently rewrote her friends' destinies and, after restoring what had been damaged, became the princess of Ponyville.

Korra: Had her bending taken from her with only airbending remaining. She was visited by Aang who not only restored her ability to bend fire, water and earth, but she became a truly realized Avatar.

Godzilla Junior: Died at the hands of the monstrous Destoroyah, had his father die only to absorb his energies and became the new King of the Monsters. (FYI I am considering Godzilla Triumphant by to be a true sequel.)

Orion Pax/Optimus Prime: Cybertron, the world he lived on was dying as a cause of civil war. He journeyed to the center of his world and was bestowed upon to him the Matrix of Leadership, giving him the title of the last Prime.
