Description
The types of Gyaos that appear in Godzilla X Gamera: Gaia War.

From upper left to lower right:

Soldier Gyaos: The most common breed of the Gyaos swarm. These beasts are able to reach a maximum height of 185 meters. They utilize a Sonic Cutter Beam which can slice through even the strongest metals like butter.

Commander Gyaos: Among the largest breeds of the Gyaos swarm, Commanders are (as their name suggests) commanding units of the Gyaos swarm. These beasts are able to control and direct other Gyaos using pheromones they secrete through glands on their skin. In addition to the Sonic Cutter Beam, Commanders are able to produce a shield made up of pure sound.

Stalker Gyaos: Small, dog-like Gyaos roughly the size of humans whose wings have devolved into front limbs, these creatures serve as scouts or hunters among the swarm.

Praetorian Gyaos: A rare breed of Gyaos. These roughly bear-sized, armored beasts are born completely male and are unable to change genders in order to reproduce making them completely sterile much like drone bees. Much like Stalkers, Praetorians lack wings and instead have a heavily armored carapace they can roll into to protect them from bullets or survive impact of being dropped out of the sky by Soldiers or Commanders. Instead of a Sonic Cutter Beam, Praetorians emit a high-pitched noise much akin to a more powerful dog whistle which submits their prey to a slow and painful death.

Aqua Gyaos: Manta Ray-like Gyaos who have adapted to a more aquatic nature due to having gills though they can fly above water for limited amounts of time. Due to their deep sea nature, Aquas are almost completely blind and instead rely on a sense of smell, an Ampullae of Lorenzini akin to sharks and echolocation which they can weaponize much like the Praetorians.

Berserker Gyaos: The second largest Gyaos breed and the most dangerous. These Gyaos are always kept as far away from the other swarms due to their wild, rabid nature which presents them as a danger to anything in their way, even other Gyaos (except for Commanders who just use pheromones to keep them away). Instead of a Sonic Cutter Beam, Berserkers utilize sound in a way similar to a sonic bullet capable of destroying any object with sheer kinetic force alone.
