Actually, the Spider Ham comics came out in 1983, and the Simpson's Movie premiered long after the comic. Hell, Spider Ham is older than the Simpsons.

All we need is Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 and this would be the absolute best thing ever I still love it though especially the inclusion of Peni Parker and Spider-Man noir and I can't wait for more fanart of Peni Parker I love how cute she is with the redesign for this movie though I think they probably should have kept the original design cause that is really great too.

I am so glad Peni is in this film! Sure she's a bit different (And I'm not the biggest fan of the SP//dr redesign, even though I know the reason why), but I'm just happy she's included.

Damn that Spidey Noir...hat and trench really complete the look for him. It's not like I've read tons of the Noir series, but visual-wise, he looks amazing
Not sure about the anime school girl on left though. Don't like how some anime aesthics are shoved into Marvel and DC these days, it's an odd art choice in my opinion...

The girl's name is Peni Parker. She is the pilot of SP//DR and her universe is basically akin to Tokusatsu films and mecha anime with a mech version of Venom (called Ven#m ) and a Kaiju version of Morbius.Β

I must admit that's the first time I hear about her. At first I thought that's some version of Silk (other Spider-man related character)...and...I'm still not liking the idea giving anime-spin to already established IP's. But aside from that, the film itself looks VERY interesting. It's a really good time to be a Spider-man fan as of late

Well, her comic had a very cyberpunk anime-feel to it. Personally, I think they went with a Moe look in order for her, Noir-Spidey, and Spider-Ham to stand out among Peter, Miles, and Gwen.Β
