Dude, there's a thing called "Reimagining". Look it up. My god, get over the changes they made to Kong in the Monsterverse! I'm GLAD they made changes to him. In fact, this is MY King Kong. This is MY definitive Kong. I prefer this Kong over all the others because he has enough personality to be considered a character but he's not overly humanized. Besides, this version of Kong exists in a world alongside Godzilla. You're like friggin' E-Rod who constantly bashes the reinterpretation of a character because it's not "their version" while not leaving the door open for a reimagining. That's what I can't stand about you; it's either your way or the highway. You don't HAVE to watch Godzilla vs. Kong but you can at LEAST give people who DO want to see it a chance to enjoy it. 

Godzilla and Kong are gonna fight again come 2020. Get used to it.

And this version of Kong is much more accurate to the original. He never was supposed to be giant overgrown gorilla, but something more humanoid, like in this film. In original he has almost human expressions, more humanoid posture and in that film girl was not in love in our big guy. And he's still not fully grown and we know what that means. Let them motherf*cking fight. Still Team Godzilla FTW, but I believe Kong will put up good fight and who knows maybe Gigan (one of my favorites) will show up as a villain and preview to another events in monsterverse.
