Cultures around the world have told of vast serpents and monsters that dwelt beneath the ever churning waves. Ancient Babylonians spoke of a primordial beast named Apsu who controlled the world's waters with the help of his mate, Tiamat. In a way, Titanus Apsu (or Titanosaurus as it was [jokingly] named by Dr. Rick Stanton of Monarch, despite that being the name given to a species of sauropod) may have served as an inspiration for those ancient people. First discovered by accident by Doctors Mark and Emma Russell during their first active mission for Monarch, Titanosaurus was attracted to the signals being given off by their prototype ORCA (Organic Reverberation Communications Amplifier) device. After a tense staredown, the Titan swam off. At first it was thought Titanosaurus did not regard their ship as a threat, but further studies reveal the Titan's echolocation abilities were disrupted by the ORCA's own sonic waves. Titanosaurus was not seen again until ten years later during the incursion of the invasive Titan Ghidorah when sightings of this rogue Titan began appearing all over the world. While Titanosaurus is a gentle giant in a way, the damage he causes stems from the maelstroms and rogue waves his finned tail produces whilst swimming. It is also speculated that, should he ever come on land, his tail fin is powerful enough to generate microbursts capable of shattering buildings in a manner similar to the cyclones produced in flight by Titanus Rodan.

Godzilla - 393 feet

Titanosaurus - 410 feet

Not too big a size difference, at least compared to Ghidorah's 521 feet in height.

Yeah, but still. Titano's usually had the height advantage over Godzilla.
