My only question is why not Wan as the boy character?

Because at the end of LOK, Mako gets a burn on his arm. Also, because I'm a sane Makorra shipper who really didn't care about which ship came out on top, all I really cared about was whether or not Korra came out okay in the end.

I would have seen Moro as Naga since they're the ones that San and Korra ride on all the time, but I guess this works too.

1. San never rode Moro into battle, she was always riding one of her brothers.
2. Moro dwarfed San by ten feet, San's wolf brothers were roughly the size of horses.
3. Moro had only one scene in the movie where she was in full fighting capability and spent the rest of the movie crippled and dying from a bullet in her chest courtesy of Eboshi.
4. Moro had two tails, her sons only had one each.
5. I've seen the movie multiple times so I know what I'm talking about.
