I'm doing this monster challenge
Challenge 1: A swamp dwelling monster!
I just kinda went a little weird with this one, I didn't want to do the typical "creature from the black lagoon" thing
This herbivorous creature dwells is swamps. Its long legs and neck allow it to graze on leaves high in swamp trees. Blunt round teeth are good for stripping the leaves off branches. Its natural fur colour is beige and brown, yet the hollow hair tubes allow for the growth of algae inside- forming a greenish camouflage among the swamp. The female incubates eggs in holes on its back, where it is drier. If left on the ground they would soon rot in the damp, fungi- infested soil. They move in spaced out herds, calling to each other in case of danger. Their cry is said to sound similar to a human voice
