I grew up with The Land Before Time movies and show as a kid, so drawing this brought some nostalgia to me. I still have the dvds, though I don't have nor seen all of them. I only have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, & 12 on dvd, I'm gonna have to watch the ones I don't have online. If I'm gonna draw a Sharptooth, lets go with the original one because I think this was the scariest one compared to all the others in the sequels whose more kid-friendly. Looking back right now, I think the original is the only one that doesn't have any musicals (which is kinda annoying & overused way too much now that I think about it). Actually I'm just gonna do a LBT marathon since i haven't watched these in years.
Obviously the traced one is better & accurate, but the free-hand isn't bad. Its just the proportions that I never get right in any of my drawings when doing free-hand. I'm starting to do tracing just to try it out and experiment with, I'm still gonna do free-hand since tracing feels like cheating to me.
