Description Perturabo. The Primarch of the 4th Legion (The Iron Warriors) and one of traitors who allied with Horus during the Horus Hersey.

This guy was really underappreciated during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy. Not only did Perturabo felt snubbed when the Emperor chose Rogal Dorn to fortify the Imperial Palace over him, but he also lost many of his sons during the viscous battles of the Crusade, got shunned by his brothers for his methods (though that’s deserved), and was often left to his own devices, causing him to be resentful. He had a mental breakdown after having to quell a revolt on his home planet of Olympia via genocide, this not only made him fell guilt for what he did, but had him worry about what the Emperor do to him as punishment. The reason why Perturabo joined the traitors because Horus promised that all will be forgiven, but things didn't get much better for him.

Unlike his fellow traitors, Perturabo didn't allow himself or his legion to be corrupted by Chaos (initially) throughout the Heresy and was actually conflicted. Despite being an invaluable asset, Perturabo was mistreated by his fellow traitor Primarchs, Fulgrim chief among them, who tried to sacrifice him so complete his transformation into a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh when he asked for help for a mission. Even after that and the spitefulness from the others, he continued his oath to Horus. Perturabo was the one who commanded the Siege of Terra, even having to gather some of his fellow Primarchs together so that they can do their roles for it. Without him, Horus and the others wouldn't have even made it to the Sol System. Perturabo's genius would've won the Traitors the war if Horus hadn't handed command of the Siege mid-battle to Mortarion. Finally having enough, Perturabo withdrew from the battle, taking the Iron Warriors with him, which costed Horus the war.

Perturabo eventually got back at Rogal Dorn by challenging him to siege his newly constructed fortress, The Iron Cage. Though the Ultramarines arrived to aid the Imperial Fists and won, Perturabo was still satisfied, for his defenses had decimated Rogal's offense greatly, proving that he was the better Siege Master.

Now, I honestly felt sorry for Perturabo. Not only was he treated like garbage by the Imperium and the Traitor Primarchs, but I also relate to him in a way, that being I sometimes feel that what I do isn't either appreciated enough or at all. Now, I'm not saying I'm not appreciated (I do have friends who make me feel appreciated), but I used to feel that way, and still do to an extent. I also don't agree with Perturabo's actions like betraying the Emperor (if Big-E could tolerate Angron and Konrad, I don't think he'd care about genocide), but he got done dirty by those around him.
