Back in 2021 a Godzilla vs Kong art book came out that showed many different things such as concept art of scenes that we didn’t see in the final product of the film, such as Godzilla and Kong fighting inside the hollow earth temple, but one of these scenes was a little bit more interesting than others.

This scene showed the hollow earth team inside a secret chamber inside the throne room where on the walls were cave paintings that showed a battle between the armies of Godzillas and Kongs ancestors, but what was the most interesting thing about this was at the top of the painting showed what looks like a “Winged” Godzilla that is fighting the two armies all alone.

In the novel version of GvK, there was a story that the Iwi people spoke about a Godzilla how after eating a “star” turned evil, this and the painting all suggested that this Winged Godzilla was a great threat and it may have token the armies of both sides to stop it.

This may have been nothing more then just some fun little Easter egg for fans but it did leave a big impact on the community and a lot of fan theories about both the identity of this Godzilla and the future of the MV.

The question now with the teaser for the new “GxK The New Empire” out and the reveal of a new Titans threat, one must wonder whether this Winged Godzilla will still show up or that it’s just one of those things many things that was teased but never followed up on.
