Role: Leader of the Autobots and the latest in the Dynasty of Primes.

Bio: A charismatic yet powerful noble-bot who knows how to use both mind and brawn in any situation,Sentinel Prime was able to earn his place among the Primes with less trouble then most of the Primes that came before. He was able to protect Cybertron during the Quintessonian invasion as well as responsible for opening many of the colonies that eventually spread in most of the planets of the galaxy Cybertron is at along with bringing out what bots called the Golden age. Sentinel's personalty made him popular and praised by nearly all of Cybertron.

Though that was before his ego and pride consumed him,before he brought ruin and war to the planet and before he met his most hated rival Straxus.

One of the major flaws of Sentinel's character was that he is a very proud bot who thinks highly of what he does and he rarely if ever admitted when he did wrong. He also prefers to use force in order to make his points across often making some bots not fond of him. those flaws were to bring about what'll be known as one of the most violent and tragic wars the planet witnessed.

It started when Sentinel was turning a blind optic on many of the cities of Cybertron that was paying the toll of using the tax money he imposed to bring about the colonies and political acts he used on other planets. For example Kaon was one of the most severely affected city that was on the verge of a violent uprising by street gangs who resorted to barbaric acts like gladiator matches or murder to get things done due to the poverty of the city going under not to mention the lack of police to keep citizens safe. One leader of the gang calls himself Straxus and he proudly claimed that he was on the verge of a revolution that he'll bring to Cybertron and it's people and that he'll end the tyranny that Sentinel was imposing on the planet.

Sentinel at the time just ignored him saying that he won't waste time on putting a whiny upstart who's likely just talking and not doing anything in place. He soon changed his opinion on Straxus as he saw multiple attempts on his life by Straxus followers as well as major sites being vandalized even attacked when he was at the same sites that were attacked. It didn't help him to know that there are a growing number of converts into Straxus's growing army which now call themselves Decepticons.

Desperate He decided to trick Straxus into calling a meeting with him to work things out for the benefit of the planet's well being but he really planned to have an bounty hunter take care of him swiftly and good. What he didn't know that Straxus can tell when a bot is lying to him so the night before the meeting Straxus waited for the hunter to come to him so that when the bounty hunter did come he'd take care of him. The next day Straxus told all of Cybertron of what almost happened to him and declared war on Sentinel and his army of Autobots. Thus the great war began with Sentinel growing more paranoid and ruthless as he grew into a tyrannical dictator that played the role of a just leader to the Autobots while secretly manipulated and blackmailed anyone to be on his side or to get out of his way.

However near the end of the war something happened to him that looked like he had a wake up call of what he was doing was wrong. Some of the loyal servants said that he didn't tell them what happened but they can tell from his optics that he seemed to somewhat humbled by a greater power. In the end during a very violent attack led by Straxus himself at Iacon Sentinel faced off his rival to what is known to be one of the most historic battles of Cybertron. After a long and gruesome battle Sentinel was finally killed by Straxus who was obbsesed with trying to obtain the Matrix of Leadership because only then will he have the proper right to be ruler so he can lead Cybertron into what he called the next Golden age as a Prime. But when Straxus opened up Sentinel's chest he found out that the Matrix was missing. no one knows for sure what happened. Some say the 13 teleported it to a place where evil can't reach it but it can be said that Sentinel had something to do with it. Straxus was furious that his one chance of leading Cybertron was gone so he and his remaining forces were driven off by Ultra Magnus and his new allies of Cybertron thus the war ended there.

While Sentinel's acts of tyranny can not be ignored by the people they cannot also ignore that he was able to bring some good to the planet so a statue was made to sit next to the past Primes by Sentinel's remaining followers. Since then without the Matrix of Leadership around there has not been a new Prime since and only Ultra Magnus to take over as Leader.
