I don't know or care what DC comics has done these days with their characters. I stopped reading anything they published within a year of the New 52, just decided it wasn't worth my time and money, not with 70+ years of good material to enjoy from better writers. One of the best things they did before screwing the pooch on continuity was Cassandra Cain. She is one of my all time favorite DC characters, and I contend that she is the best Batgirl, much as I love Barbara Gordon. Probably one of the most underappreciated characters in the Bat-Family, at least in popular culture and public awareness.Related content

They ripped Cassandra's role and title away just to capitalize on merchandizing the red-haired Batgirl. Because there are no female Asian comic book fans who want to be part of the Bat-Family.

*Sigh* Thank you, I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt....let's generously say less than enthusiastic about the choice to sweep Cass under the rug. God knows if there's one thing comics severely lack in it's compelling and numerous Asian and Asian American characters to get behind

That was one (of many) thing I loved about your Batman graphic novel. Cass. And Bruce unashamedly being her father in the early forties.
