Description We at Kaijukid Comics are proud to announce a new One-Shot comic project that will be the combined efforts of some fresh new writing to our little staff and a new bar in our artistic quality standards.  For those of you awesome people who have been following the Godzilla: Triumphant sketch comic that will continue as well, but we're also going to be working on this with a goal of fully COLORED pages at 1 a week.  It will then be made available for a limited distribution for the 2015 G-Fest should it work out that we'll be there.
No plot details yet except this.....3 generations of Godzilla in one story!  We're looking forward to getting it done!

Pretty cool. Nice setup to a short story. I do like how you used the savior and destroyer line. Its fitting for him. Though I am always a sucker for the hero bit. At least in context. Like the Hedorah film. Technically he was a hero...but it was not really out of some misconception of an anthropomorphized hero. He was just going after a creature that was destroying his sea. I mean, look at one of the last scenes in the movie...when he turns around and faces the humans. They look terrified that he would turn on them. That's the GodIlla I like. That's the reaction I like for him to receive.

I can't wait to see what abilities this new monster has. Its got to be something special for him to have to stand up to three Godzillas.

Hold on. Godzilla and High Fantasy... in the same story?

Why has no one else come up with this idea?

I appreciate the implied compliment   I'm not especially brilliant for thinking outside the box or anything, but I just enjoy shaking up formula a little.  There was a Japanese manga of Godzilla that made all the monsters He-Man type characters with armor and swords, and I thought it was brilliant...plus, the fantasy twist really was the most convenient way to write in the story element of dimensional travel for this short one-shot without repeating the same old "Dimension Tide" thing.

Yeah, it was a compliment. Sorry if it wasn't that clear.

I've had an idea of a high fantasy kaijuverse floating in my head myself, but I've yet to really do anything with it.

Oh no you were perfectly clear, thank you, I appreciate it.  And the more fan-generated stories the better I say.

Yeah, like I said there's several Japanese manga that haven't come to the states have had fun with some "What if" scenarios.  The one I have is great, but I can't read it.  One of these days I'd like to pay someone to do some translations and, if possible, share them with the kaiju community here in the West, because they do look like a real treat based on the art alone.
