Page 1 of Godzilla Triumphant as colored by my beloved wife, *StarshineBeast !None of the dialog, story, or anything else has changed. It's just being colored by my wife.
Godzilla Triumphant
Summary: 10 years after Godzilla vs. Destroyah, Godzilla Jr. rises from the depths under the influence of a strange alien invader, and is making his way around the world for one purpose; to assemble the mightiest army ever to walk the face of the earth. But for what purpose? Miki Saegusa and her allies scramble to find the answers before the world is obliterated by this unstoppable force, and before Godzilla is completely Triumphant!

Just a fan comic for fun, continuing the Heisei Godzilla movie series of the 90s. I did this series as a "sketch project", meaning I made it an exercise to make as good a book as I could as fast as possible, because sadly I can't spend all my time working to make the comic look as excellent as a Godzilla book deserves, but I hope you'll find it fun to read irregardless, and I still hope to have done my best. Enjoy!

Thanks, but it was actually my wife who colored this page thinking she would take it on as a challenge project, but now she's doing her own successful commission work and she knows she'll never get the time. I'm busy with a million projects as well so it's not very likely

More than likely the colored version will not, it was more just an experiment by my wife to see what she could do with my lineart. The black and white version is still ongoing.

40+ hour workweeks and assorted other projects make it tough to keep up web comics, plus I'm moving house, so yeah it's nice to have people who understand. Just glad I'll finally have the room in the new place to properly display the kaiju collection I've amassed after the last 16 years XD

i can't claim credit for the good coloring, the wife went above and beyond on those. I really liked how she got the golden glow effect on this one.

It kinda makes me feel silly for literally pumping out the lineart as fast as possible, just to finish it and say it's done. Some of the pages in Triumphant literally took me ten minutes to draw, because frankly I have no time to devote to it as I should with other artwork on my plate that needs doing, but I simply decided to do it no matter how crappy it looked and leave it at that, thus the whole "sketch comic" idea. Thankfully Starshinebeast is making them more into what I would have hoped
