I always hate it when I put my heart into a project and don't finish it up and follow through. I got a LONG way into my old Godzilla: Triumphant fan comic, but while I enjoyed it I wasn't putting a lot of hard work into it, just quickly pumping out bad looking pages to get it done. But I have appreciated the support I've been shown to finish the story, that even that story made someone happy and invested. So I did want to make it clear that I wanted to eventually give it the treatment and the love it deserved, to give it a little bit of a rewrite, improve the art and make it the best it can be. One of these days it'll happen, but for now I was drawing up a new front cover to show my intentions for the reworking of it.

Really cool to see this from you! Would be really nice to see you finish this some day, but of course, no pressure.
Still, I think Godzilla could really use a Webcomic. I've been reading several webcomics lately, most of them original stories, and while I really enjoy them, sometimes it would be nice to see something familiar in this format.
The only Godzilla webcomic besides your's that I've noticed was the adaptation of the American 1994 script, but honestly, I really don't like the artstyle of that comic. 2D characters with 3D backgrounds got hard to look at, honestly
I've actually hatched several ideas of a Godzilla Webcomic of my own, "Godzilla: The Webcomic". I really like the ideas I have, and I'd love to do it, however, I have two concerns.
One, I know it would be a lot of work, and how far would I get before I give up, and, the bigger problem, what would TOHO do if they found out? The comic would be free to read online of course, and I'd make no money off it, but would that stop them from taking legal action?

Thankfully Toho tends to not have any concern about fan projects until they start to make whatever predetermined amount of money they find "too much", so as long as it's free material I doubt they'd ever care. They've never contacted me about my webcomics or any of the Godzilla related commission work I've done, but this year at Fest we were alerted to the fact that the artists in the art sellers room now have to only have 33% of their stock be directly Godzilla related, so unfortunately they are starting to crack down. You'll be safe though.
Thanks for the good word on the comic, I always feel bad for abandoning any story I start but I always intend to go back to it someday. It's nice to see from the response here that people would like to see Triumphant revised into an improved comic in the future, it'll inspire me to keep it on the agenda down the road.

i might be wrong but I can see the plot, The Aliens land on earth looking for there child unaware that they are not wanted as they tip the balance awakening the guardians and the chaos awakens godzilla leading too Aliens vs Elementals vs Godzilla, Jet will be a supporting character helping agianst the aliens
