The last Kong figure I'm getting for GVK because when I thought about it I realized it was the first time we've had a Bandai vinyl of Kong in almost 30 years, and it just felt appropriate to add him next to the 1962 edition. It's not the absolute best representation of the character in that he looks a little bored and there's the hard cut in his middle, but the details are still great, especially in the mouth, and unlike all the Playmates Kongs they actually took the effort to sculpt the scars on his chest. I may have to customize him to be able to hold an axe because the dual clenched fist look is kinda dull, but otherwise happy to support the ongoing efforts of the Bandai vinyl line.
