I realize sometimes it's the cheapest, simplest things that make me really happy when I'm filling in the corners of my kaiju collection, but Christmas this year saw the surprise of getting one of the rare Godzilla the Series HEAT Seeker boats from the Carl's Junior/Hardees kids meals that to this day are the only official figures from that cartoon that ended up getting released. I mean yeah it's nothing super impressive, it's a tiny plastic boat with a sticker face and not much detailing, but it still makes me happy to put it on the shelf that has the GTS customs I've worked on. Funny enough I also learned that it's a stamp, didn't know that before, but you can pull the top of the boat off and there's a rubber stamp inside that has Godzilla's footprints as the stamp image, and to my shock the ink inside was still moist and actually worked after 23 years.
