Welp, I threatened it for long enough and tried my hand at making the Hanna Barbera Godzilla to add to the shelf. The funny thing about these is that even when you try to make it as accurate as you know how, sometimes the figure just does its own thing a little. I'm getting better at these but I'm still leagues away from what I'd like. Even so, this was fun, making one of the oddest but most nostalgic versions of the King of the Monsters for me, as my entire collection of G-Films in my childhood consisted of Megalon, Gigan, Kong vs G and a VHS of the first episode of this cartoon.
And yes, God help me, I intend to make Godzooky eventually

I hadn't, though I have been noticing a lot of really well-made fan projects hitting the old Tube lately. It continues to amaze me how in these times fans with some good animating skills and the right video software can manage to make things I never would have dreamed doable by amateurs back when I was growing up, it's amazing. The MechaGodzilla city fighting Godzilla Earth animation alone shows me how passionate these fans can get.

Ohh ... the first Godzilla "made" in the United States and one that helps start the urban myth that Godzilla is green when it is actually black and the original is brown ... I like the figurine!

Ooooh, the first and only cool Godzilla appeared in cartoons from the infamous Hanna Barbera series. I like to see a more dark and serious Godzilla animated movie from Warner Bros animation but on theater.
