Description
King Ghidorah is one of the world's most recognized monsters, and in the Godzilla fandom probably the most beloved of the arch enemies of the Big G. For me Showa Ghidorah remains the most awesome even if by comparison to the Heisei version it's a little shrimpy. The High Grade Bandai Box figure is a pretty nice representation of the character for only being about 5 inches tall, and not as fragile as the classic Bandai Ghidorah figure.One thing I'll add about Ghidorah that I especially look forward to in King Of The Monsters 2019 is that, more than likely, it won't be controlled by an external force, because far too often have we had to settle for Ghidorah not being in control of itself, so for me the excitement over the new Legendary Ghidorah is partially fueled by how cool it will be to see a brand new Ghiddy rampaging without being controlled by aliens or men from the future.

Yeah this one is surprisingly rare, kinda surprised me. I just picked it up at Fest because I thought it looked cool, only found out later how uncommon and pricey it can get.

Yes and no. The Rock is always fun to watch and the kaiju action was phenomenal, really loved Lizzie especially, but the movie was....not really enjoyable for me. I dunno, call it somewhat false advertising but I was expecting a lot more fun of a movie, took my whole family and we suspected it would be a little lighter, but it took itself waaaay too seriously for our tastes considering the subject matter and the trailers. Not a bad movie, just didn't really do it for me.

that is a thought such a powerful monster always being controlled , what if it was much more smarter highly intelligent and in control of other monsters .

That was a point in favor of Grand King Ghidorah in Mothra 3, a great design coupled with a more classic Ghidorah agenda of just coming to earth to feed and be a little more direct in its villainy, rather than a tool. Legendary has a chance to give the film a badass powerhouse that Ghiddy deserves, but I'm still holding to my prediction that they'll use the new Oxygen Destroyer on him.
