Description
Most of my favorite G figures are a little older or have some deeper nostalgic value, but this is one of the cases where a brand new item is a personal favorite. The Monsterarts line is awesome anyway, but for the 1989 Biollante Godzilla figure they went all out and made it electronic. This guy roars, plays two full length Akira Ifukube musical pieces, lights up on his back and mouth, and has stomping sound effects, in addition to just being really well sculpted and executed overall. I'm not really big on super poseability or having dozens of articulation cuts in a figure, but it doesn't take away from the finished product here. It's my second favorite figure of my all-time favorite Godzilla suit, edged out only just barely by the X-Plus.
