I really love the variation and freedom of their design, I know it's not really a species but the concept behind them all is really neat.
Aphid doesn't really have a dramatic backstory, he's just Aphid
He sprouted from the ground and grew up to be a large anthropomorphic animal hybrid of a gator and bear. He's large but timid, a very gentle giant who just loves nature and spending time with his friends. His bestfriend is a kiwi, raccoon and chameleon hybrid named Viny .

So I recently redesigned Aphid and wanted to see your guys' interpretation of his new design!
The contest will be to create your own oc based off his species. I haven't named it yet, but here's the requirements:
This species is a hybrid of reptile, mammal and fruit
example: Aphid is a alligator, bear and strawberry, so you could do something like a gecko, bunny, pineapple?
-Their blood is made up of their juice
-Their eyes are usually slightly off white
-The tail is not limited to be reptilian, for example you could have a leafy tail / fruit related, reptilian paws and a mammalian head and body (mix and match to your heart's desire!)
You can create a drawing or reference sheet
The contest will be judged on character design, execution, and skill!
-If you're not the best artist you can still win if your design is well done!
-If you're not the best at designing you could still win if your execution is well th

Well I honestly just grew tired of the bright green, also wanted to make him more likable since I'm selling prints and stickers of him. I didn't have a reference for him before so when I was drawing this one I figured I'd just make the big change in his color design
