Description
Character concept for the web series "Age of Equestria", specifically "Age of Equestria 3: Shrouded Darkness". He is named after a species from the original MLP G1 show.

Gizmonk is robot monkey assistant created by Professor N. Shroud. While he was initially meant to be N. Shroud's right hand man in his evil schemes, he soon came to realize that his master's intentions are wrong and should be not allowed to succeed. Gizmonk also began to appreciate the ways of the ponies and the concept of the Magic of Friendship. This eventually led to Gizmonk betraying N. Shroud and siding with the heroes.

Gizmonk is very intelligent for a robot monkey, he is able to solve rocket science level math equations in just a few short minutes. He is also very talkative and kind hearted, always thinking of others before himself. At times he can get very nervous and defensive when the situation starts to get serious and/or dangerous. His size and tree primate based design also makes him very fast, agile, and flexible. He also has a built in touch screen device in his right arm and a retractable grappling hook in the tip of his tail.

He would be voiced by Kevin McDonald, voice Pleakley from "Lilo and Stitched".
