Rudy Jones was the janitor of Metropolis High School, living in what could be described as the armpit of life. He constantly bossed around harshly by Principal Chapin, while the rest of the world walked all over him. That all changed though, when he was caught in the middle of a battle between the Super Hero Girls and the villains, Killer Croc and Mister Freeze. He was knocked into a cabinet containing barrels of a chemical known as ME-11, a formula used to absorb the nuclear energy of radiation leaks and spills. The barrels spilled there contents all over him, causing him to undergo a painful transformation into the energy absorbing creature known as Parasite. As Parasite, Rudy now seeks to make a name for himself and get back at the world for walking all over him. Fortunately, for the Hero Girls he is usually your average B-List villain. However, if he can get hands on someone like Diana or Kara, any hero who faces him will be in for a hard time.

Ever since getting his powers, Parasite has become very egotistical. Every act of evil he commits is his effort to get some recognition as someone who should be ignored or taken for granted. This though can make him careless, and causes him to make mistakes. That is not to say he is a total dope. When he is not inflating his ego, he can think a plan through. However, he is more effective when he works with bigshot villains, such as the Super Villain Girls.
