Known locally as the Tiger of the Deep, Shachihoko (Shachi for short), is an aquatic beast that lurks within the rivers and nearby ocean of the Forest of Spirits. Shachi enjoys hunting whatever prey he can get his paws/fins on. He is capable of devouring a prey item as big as a hippopotamus. Despite Shachi's fearsome appearance and hostile predatory tendencies, he can be a friendly creature when one gets to know him. In fact, Shachi is known to defend those he cares about when they are in danger.
