Long ago when Atlantis and Mu still stood as powers to the world, another city loomed as a cradle for scientific knowledge and mystical achievement, this was Eli Kenai, but they were no better to their environment than people today and polluted the sea around them. But instead of changing their ways the people instead created the Megadinosaur they named Dagarla,who was supposed to devour all the pollutants, but these same pollutants mutated his internal structure and created an organ that spewed forth barem, starfish-like creatures that spat acid at all times. At this same period of time, Battra attacked and destroyed Atlantis and Mu and caused get upheaval in the world and Eli Kenai sank from the worldwide fallout and Dagarla was put in suspended animation for centuries. In the year 1999 the combined actions of man's pollution and the evil Shobjin Belvera awaken Dagarla and Eli Kenai and Dagarla attacked the world once again and this time would not stop his agony-induced rage. Mothra was soon to arrive as Godzilla was MIA at the time, and fought the reptilian sea monster but was soon over powered by him and would have been killed had Battra not intervened. Battra was set on killing Dagarla but was swayed by mothra to help her purify the distraught dinosaur kaiju and rid him of the Barem inside him. Dagarla was then escorted to Monster island where he would stay until 2010 when by will of the Killaaks would bring a halt to the worlds shipping with the help of Ebirah and Odako, but would be freed of their power by the humans and help Godzilla and the others to defeat the Killaak kaiju army.
