2005, was the year the world would at last come to appreciate the creatures held on Monster island as they would be the only hope humanity would have. The incident started innocently enough as an out world race of people that called themselves Xilians appeared and claimed to want peace and friendship, humans being suckers for a friendly face and good intentions, welcomed these strange people.
But soon enough their true intent became clear as they demanded control of the world's nations and demanded the immediate destruction of Monster island or they would release Hedorah and Gigan on the world as well as their army, and thus the war for earth was on the Gotengo was launched and the barriers of Monster island opened and Godzilla led Angilas, Rodan, Manda, Baragon, Ultraman and the rest of the earth's kaiju against the Xilians, only to confront their leader. For years the leader of the Xilians had been modifying his body with Ghidoran DNA and consuming massive ammounts of energy, all allowing him to grow to 50 meters and do battle with Godzilla. But, as Gigan fled and Hedorah defeated, he was out numbered so he released his greatest store of power turning him into a foe unlike anything seen since Spacegodzilla.
