Long has the icon of the sphinx been associated with puzzling riddles and perplexing problems, but in the fall of 1992 it would be associated with FEAR. Finster had created a savage monster named king sphinx who imprisoned children who failed to answer his riddles, in trees. but soon the power rangers were on the scene to stop the diabolical acts. King Sphinx proved to be a ferocious fighter, but when GOLDAR arrived on the scene to aid his feline ally, things went very bad very quick, and worse when Rita increased the size of her kaiju soldiers and a terrible battle between them erupted in which King Sphinx and Goldar seemed to have the advantage until the red ranger tricked King Sphinx into revealing the secret of his power, the cobra on his headdress and with a mighty swing the power sword loped it of and another blow destroyed King Sphinx.
Powers,
- is incredibly strong, but not as strong as later kaiju made from Dokita clay
- wings create tornadic winds
- cobra headdress fire energy beams

Terror Blossom- Created from flower petals by Lord Zedd, the Terror Blossom's petal could freeze anything it touched. It planned to create an army of flower monsters once he'd found a place to germinate his seed pods. To keep the Rangers busy while he germinated his seeds, Terror Blossom summoned the Hatchasaurus and then apparently left the park. Jason, trini and Zack were frozen by him. Terror Blossom was destroyed by the Thunder Megazord.
Maniac Mechanic- On Earth, Maniac Mechanic disguised himself as Manny, a classmate in Ashley's shop class, and then stole her new wrench and made into his own weapon, the Wretched Wrench. Riding on the back of the Battle Wagon
that he built, he used the wrench to knock out the wheels of Storm Blaster while Justin, Ashley and Carlos were on it. After it was eventually fixed, the Rangers were able to take down Maniac Mechanic by destroying the Battle Wagon, and at that point Ashley's wrench was returned to normal. The torpedoes were then fired to make the Maniac giant. The Rangers destroyed him with the Rescue Megazord.
Datascammer- Datascammer could emit blasts from his mouth and scanned informaiton from the Power Rangers. He gave the information to Astronema. He was destroyed by the Mega Voyager.
