In 2007 as Godzilla the Gotengo and the Ultrazord headed toward New york from L.A. to battle the colossal crystals and the kaiju Krystalak, they stumbled upon a slew of giant animals created by nuclear and cryogenic tests held in the american west,and Rattler was one such kaiju. Rattler is not the huge 150 meters of manda but is just as heavy and his rattle can deafen human ears and interfere with radio waves. He is the best friend of Yellowback a giant coral snake, both are nearly 78 meters long and venomous. Rattler like his fellow kaiju, is much smarter than the average pit viper and has shown great strategic prowess but he id terribly stubborn and wants to do things his way which sometimes leads him into conflict with Godzilla, though the two have never actually fought they posture from time to time they are really friends but you couldn't tell it. ( I put Rattler next to a human silhouette so he would look more kaiju-like and not like a rattlesnake)
