I think this is my favorite one out of all yours. It has your artistic style with a unique idea behind it.
You hit the nail on the head with all the details. The keyhole belly button on one side and straps on the evil side. The hearts, wings everything.

I love the fact that they somewhat fade/take into eachother. Both are nifty-ness and the broken piece of the heart for an eye?...is an very new though!

Oh my gosh Amai, that is so true, when someone falls in love, it is sometimes tied to heartbreak, this is so beautiful and captures that subject so well, your artwork is so inspiring, I truly love it all, and all your creatures are incredible. Thank you for drawing them.

I like the strings on the bottom one, with the suggestion of constriction. Bg also looks good. I have yet to figure out how that is done.
This reminds me of my "Puppet" series poems on emotions. One mentioning how emotions of the heart contradict and coinside with eachother at the same time.

I keep coming back to look at this. The shape of everything is so beautiful. I especially love the buckles on broken heart's back, and the shape of their paws. You always draw such delectable paws.

oh wow. I have been stuck on this subject...Mostly because I have some characters that are linked by this subject so I have been having a hard time finding something that feels right..
but this is awsome. I simply explains both sides of the story and how they are connected. I really love it. This just turned out so great...all the little details that make one side contradict the other is so awsome. Love your art amai.
