Description

Wanted to play around with a new brush I made in SAI, but I went overboard and drew this.

Not happy with the results, but it was still a nice exercise!

After the fire broke out, Rot Mother's biggest interest was in seeing how Vetru would deal with such a question.

Yet not to her surprise, yet still feeling a sad disappointment as deep down she came here in hopes that not all wanderers were the same, she wanted at least some to show compassion and that they care about their esk, Vetru was nowhere to be found.

All the esk around her scrambled off in all directions, many taking it upon themselves to help the animals of the plains, while others panicky searched for any signs of Vetru.

Rot Mother stood in silence for a while, wondering if she also should search for Vetru and force her to take care of her responsibilities. Then again, why search for someone who doesn't want to be here and help? Who rathers hide then help those in need and protect the place they said was so dear to them.

After the anger overcome her, she took a deep breath and started wandering into the center of the fire. Taking it upon herself to investigate the cause and hopefully being able to stop it.

Her reason was not a noble one, if she stopped the fire she could later on rub it in Vetru's face, how an outsider, not only of this boundary but also the biome, was the one who had to stop the fires, because the protector of the plains was too busy indulging themselves in self pity.
