Faniry was not prepared for what the temple of silence would make her go through.

Being confronted with memories you try to suppress is never easy. Faniry has a lot of conflicting and strong emotions when it comes to her past life and also to her now being an esk. She will always question if just accepting that she is a pet. No, not only accepting, but actually loving that life. Was a betrayal to all animals, her family, herself. The hands that manifested around her in the deep waters, symbolize her fear, her memories, her feeling. Holding her back, trying to drown her. For a split second she had wished the hands would be those of her former owner. Hoping he'd pick her out of these waters. He wasn't a good human, but he did love and take care of her.

Emotions can be so complex. Faniry has been submerged for so long, for a moment she had forgotten what time is. She was exhausted, and she tried her best to just let go and let the waters carry her away.
