If you read his story he really isn't a werewolf. He does look like a wolf, but he isn't. He once was a fun loving spirit guardian coming from a tropical island. He is a corrupted lemur kaiju!

As the creator of Jinjizu, Zinogre was a huge inspiration in his creation. I simply LOVE monster. Jinjizu is like a mix of a Stygian zinogre a Savage Deviljho and...a lemur!

I guess that explains the battle scar on it's chest. . . in terms of the Deviljho part.Β And would also explain the name considering Zinogre's Romanji name is "Jinouga."Β Clever.
