Red. He's bigger, stronger, a thousand times more evil, and his fire breath is composed of souls and flame, making it enough to nearly one-shot GODZILLA. Plus, there's the fact that upon death he becomes Final Red which is even stronger. And could destroy Tokyo just by stepping on it.

Funny, I thought the same thing. As adaptable as 682 is (and an apparent lover of nauseating things courtesy of the TV Tropes forum dedicated to him), even he would be overwhelmed by the horrors of Zenith, especially its ruler. His flame breath isn't normal fire, but soul fire as CKC described it (and I doubt even 682 could withstand the onslaught of burning, wailing souls), and he's just as adaptable as 682, if not more so. And let's not forget he was said to move at nightmarish speed too. like Zachary said, "it was like trying to fight a mountain."

Indeed. Plus he can give himself wings so 682 wouldnt be able to reach him. Red was never one for a fair fight.

On a somewhat related note, you don't suppose that SCP-087 could be ... the guardian of the gateway to Zenith do you? No wonder he / she / it kills you after a certain point, as a form of mercy over the living nightmare you'd otherwise experience.

wicked looking beastie here. It caught my attention when I was about to edit the description of one of my own creations which has a very similar body... I glanced over at the side panel and saw soemthing very similar..and with a grin on my face came over to check out your work..
although the ghoulish face and hands are a nice touch

He's very big, intimidating, and POWERFUL. The fact that he can defeat and SWALLOW the King of Monsters himself makes him a good boss kaiju choice. Probably for a second release maybe?

Most of it's pretty strong. The texture is nice and fleshy, the arms look nice and wirey, yet strong. There's a good sense of mass and power. But I don't think the head really lives up to the character. It's got less of a moaning, dead mask look and more of a normal animal feel. I see jaw muscles and a sense of expression, rather than the original's dead, vague approximation of a face that simply stretched open its mouth hole to eat things.
It looks nice and lively where the original did, but the parts that are meant to look dead also look alive.

I wonder where the association with RED and the 'Tribal Mask' comes from? I know the mask represents RED's face, and that RED is a demon, but could this suggest that RED is some sort of demon god?

I know this guy's supposed to be a demon from Hell possessing an NES cartridge, but I prefer to think of him as John Carpenter's The Thing if it started absorbing kaiju. [ Warning: Entering geek mode!] Like he got Mothra and Baragon and Kumonga and everybody, then he tries to eat Godzilla but Godzilla won't digest because of Organizer G1. And the thing's like "Why won't you dissolve!?" and Godzilla responds in kaiju talk "I. Am. Eternal." And then they have the final showdown!
