Description
A redesigned Cyber-Zilla in a "Neo-esque" style. I took it as an opportunity to improve my digital-painting concept-art style.The original is very sleek and minimalist in its approach, and that's all well and good, but it lacked a threatening sense of power that the other MechaG's had (with the exception of Kiryu, who had a rather noble quality). I wanted a mix of dessicated corpse/revived killing machine with a dash of comic book flair, so I got this thing

This is a vicious beast! If I came across this behemoth, it wouldn't be good for me at all! Are those jet thrusters on its back? They look like the beast can collide at unbelievable speeds and pulverize its foes.

Now this thing looks GORGEOUS! He looks quite menacing and threatening. I did love the concept of the aliens upgrading the original Zilla to be on par with Zilla Junior.

Yeah. CyberZilla does appear goofy and kind of rushed in the series. Which doesn't make too much sense considering how many monsters the aliens had at the moment. They even had Zilla under control.
Also am I the only one who is wondering what happened to his right arm?

For me its safe to say that the firstΒ Zilla isn't the worst monster in the Godzilla franchise, this version of himΒ is his redeeming factor, whenΒ revived into anΒ alienΒ cyborg, he is a true monster just like Godzilla. Heck, evenΒ his atomic breath bears a resemblance to his too, though he may not be "TheΒ Godzilla" he has potential as his own kaiju alongside Zilla Jr.

Imo, even if the creature it is created using is called Zilla it can still be called Cyber-Godzilla simply because of the fact that it is a shit ton of screw it I am just gonna look all badass. But to each their own.

I REEEAAALLLY like how his rocket launchers and mechanical arm came out (though the rocket launchers do seem just the slightest bit awkward)

I have to say, I really like this design. The bulky body makes him look very threatening, and the asymmetrical detail looks as good as it does on, say, a Beast Wars Transmetal 2 (adds to that very mutated, twisted look). I kinda liked the very thin form of the original, as it made him look decomposed; you could very easily have gone in the other direction and made him into almost a reanimated, emaciated cyborg skeleton. Still, this looks like it could dish out some real damage.

Dude I like this version. I liked the series but the Godzilla needed a lot of help and the Cyberzilla especially. The version you did here makes that Cyberzilla a real bad ass
