Description
A redesigned Cyber-Zilla in a "Neo-esque" style. I took it as an opportunity to improve my digital-painting concept-art style.The original is very sleek and minimalist in its approach, and that's all well and good, but it lacked a threatening sense of power that the other MechaG's had (with the exception of Kiryu, who had a rather noble quality). I wanted a mix of dessicated corpse/revived killing machine with a dash of comic book flair, so I got this thing

I like how you beefed up the mecha arm, the skeletal nature of the original was creepy but it really didn't give the sense that it was much of an improvement over the organic limb it once had. Almost a downgrade as it were. This one though, this one could probably handle a round with Orga in an arm wrestling contest. The missile turrets are likewise much more powerful looking and the way they are just skewered in there is pretty ghoulish. The tail tip is pretty logical. If something was going to rot for an extended period to the point where it needed robotic replacements to this degree, the tail tip would have lost a lot of its meat years ago. Making the whole tip metal and pointy was a good call.

Definitely alot more threatening than the cartoon version, that's for sure. And there's something I like about how the blasters are freakin' nailed right into Daddy 'Zilla's "dorsal" spikes...

I absolutely LOVE this piece. its so awesome. i love your redesign of him. i also like how you replaced his wimpy and fragile robotic arm. that thing was like glass. i also love the cannons, they look way better than the absolute zero cannon. you did a truly phenominal job on this. i dont know how this can be improved upon he just looks some awesome and badass. though i am happy he was defeated by Zilla Jr.

nice, reminds me of mecha king ghidorah more than mecha godzilla... which is fine, makes perfect sense to me... more than a giant robot made with bones... i really have to see that movie to figure out what the heck is behind that reasoning

This is kind of reminding me of what they turned King Ghidorah into, except with a more industrial cyberpunk feel, and on Zilla. Freakin' awesome.

Veeeerrry impressive, Frank! You've managed to make CyberZilla look absolutely terrifying...which really shouldn't surprise me anymore, given your abilities.
You've really managed to make the kaiju-zombie-puppet-thing look both intimidating and dessicated, with elements like the cannons stuck right into his back spikes and the metal visible on his neck reinforcing the fact that it's still just a corpse-albeit a mind-controlled, cyber-enhanced one. I would point out that the organic parts don't look quite as ravaged as they should (how long has this thing been dead?), but the patchwork, invasive appearance of the cybernetics compensates for that. Need I say that it's very detailed and shaded as well?
All in all, a truly fearsome monstrosity, and definitely not something you'd want to see stomping towards your city...And am I the only one who thinks that CyberZilla kind of resembles a stripped-down, mostly organic version of Machinedramon?

Eh, you want to know HOW many voices Welker has done? Look at this-[link] try not to think too hard about the sheer NUMBER of roles he's had over the years. It may well make your head explode. (Ironically, Machinedramon is NOT one of them.)
Haven't watched Digimon since the third season, but I'd say my favorite is either Machinedramon (who doesn't like a sadistic dragon-monster that looks like a walking junk pile and has two huge cannons on its back?) or Venomyotismon (he was Mega-level before it was cool to be Mega-level).

I haven't either. I saw all of season 1 and 2, little of season 3, and pretty much none of season 4 and 5.
I like Machinedramon too, but I gotta say that Agumon to Wargreymon are my favorite Digimon.

Scary, isn't it? He's like the male version of Tara Strong (yeah, you don't want to know how many voices SHE'S done, either). Guess that's why he's the voice-acting GOD.
I think I saw most of the first three seasons (although I missed the grand finale of the third season, which stinks because the D-Reaper was AWESOME). Might've watched bits of the fourth, but it's been a long time, so maybe not.
Yeah, the original main character-partner Digimon is still a classic. My favorite form from that line would probably be Metalgreymon-again, who doesn't love a cyborg dragon-thing?
Yep! V-M-M was the original Mega-level monstrosity in the series!...and then Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon came along. And then the Dark Masters. And then Apocalymon. (You could argue that Magna-Angemon was similar to a Mega-level, too-he beat Piedmon basically by himself, and he's only an Ultimate!) Aaaand then...don't even get me started on how many more came out of the woodwork.

Yeah. Just go to Wikimon.net and thee's an entire list of mega(or ultiamte as their called in Japanese) level Digimon. At least there's only a few Super Ultimate Digimon.(above mea level)

Well, you do see Seraphimon(his mega) in Season 4, but gets deleted and comes back as a digi egg.

Yep. Inspired by the fact that Goku's transformation into a Super Saiyan was considered a big thing when he used it against Frieza...and by the end of the series, pretty much everyone was doing it.

Not really. Milleniumon is supposedly a fusion of Kimeramon and Machinedramon...although, Orochi would make a decent kaiju equivalent of the former. *shudders at the thought of a super-ancient dragon god equipped with LASERS*
