Description The giant alligator design from another upcoming comic from Gleaming Scythe

Definitely went for a V-Rex vibe on this one!

"Crocodilians are survivors. They survived the Extinction of the dinosaurs. They also survived the extinction of their fellow giant land and semi aquatic reptiles prior to that, so it comes as no real surprise that they also survived the mass extinctions brought on by Tiamat's fury, and it's subsequent war against mankind. During the age of man, there were 23 species of Crocodilian on Earth. In the future world of The Black Paw, that number has been reduced to six. And the largest, most powerful of these are the descendants of the present day Alligator. Like all species that survived Tiamat's war, the evolution of the Alligator was driven by the evolutionary arms race against the ever growing threat of insects. Jaws that once evolved to crush the thick shells of snapping turtles changed into a vice powerful enough to smash through even the two foot thick chitinous plating of the massive Megas Beetles. Despite this impressive jaw strength, the Giant Alligators most often feed upon armored plate fish, Florida Monitors, and snapping turtles. Florida Monitors prey on their eggs, and on juvenile and sub-adult specimens. Black anacondas prey on juveniles and sub-adults, and the only semi-natural threat to an adult is a swarm of attacking mosquitos, which will attack anything that gets too close to their hive with their toxic, diseased secretions."

wow, imagine if this beast was mixxed with a andaconda? Ultimate horror movie reptile for Sci-Fi?XD

Im thinkin an andaconda with a head like this but more streamline, and the bottom and top of its body with scales and plates like a gators instead of a snakes.

One of the better giant gators I've seen...and you know I've seen them all! I'm even more excited to hear that this guy is indeed a real monster character, and thus I'll add him to my infamous and legendary list of Giant Monster Characters...just let me know when this comic project does comes out.

Now putting it in my favorites.

I tried to design a giant gator for a while, but never got far with it because I kept making it look more like a Rhedosaurus.

But anyways, I like how he's a night-sky blue. Looks really intimidating.
