Oh, boy. Guess i gottra hope that those kaiju are only demons, and not the real thing. Otherwise, i feel this might be part of some larger, darker story for how Goji ended up in this place. But at least we get an epic comic cover for our troubles.

This is gonna be a bad-ass series. First issue got me locked in!

Even poor Rodan got sent to Hell, my guess it's the 1 that didn't survive the Mt. Aso eruption from 1956, most of the time Rodan was Godzilla's ally (then again the comics aren't part of the movie series, which explains why Rodan is down there).
I'm going to be very sad if they do this to poor Mothra as well (yes she's 1 of Godzilla's famous foes from his past), but she always been portrayed as a good kaiju, I'm going to predict she'll appear in Heaven somewhere to possibly help the King.

Anguirus was pretty darn obvious (Varan I can get behindΒ as well, along with the evil space monsters).
I'm going to be very shocked if Destroyah himself isn't in Hell (he's got to be), because he would be perfect as Satan's pet dog, since he looks like THE FREAKING DEVIL HIMSELF!Β
Wouldn't surprised me if Destroyah was the master of this realm.
EDIT: Spoke too soon, Mothra will be in Hell after all and is in the 3rd issue (kind of stupid since she is the defender of humanity and it's a shame she's going to get the demonic treatment as well, like Godzilla's other foes), Destroyah and King Ghidorah will be in the 4th issue and it seems we'll figure out how Godzilla got sent to Hell in the 1st place in the 3rd issue and it seems Mothra may have been involvedΒ in that battle, which could explain why Mothra's there to begin with.

Lucifer would be more likely, Satan doesn't have any reason to be in Hell, and the classic Dantean Lucifer would be a perfect final boss for Godzilla.

That was Supposed to be an Actual Movie, but it got cancelled in development, as they thought it wouldn't go over well with audiences (in general)

okay, so One guy said it was a Hoax. unless there is confirmation from the Studio that was in Charge of Godzilla at the Time the Movie was supposedly in production that it was indeed a hoax, we can't dismiss it as one.

There's neither any evidence for it being a legitimate project Toho undertook at one point nor any concrete of the opposite, that it wasn't.
All we have is:
1.) The rumor itself, which as far as I understand it came from a fanzine, and
2.) Toho Kingdom's word that it's a hoax.
So, if you want to trust the single most infamously deceitful Tohoverse website on the entire internet, then be my guest. On the other hand, the lack of any info on this all these decades later when even late 70's things like ASG and "Super Godzilla" have had more exposure makes it a tad suspect, as does the similarity of the plot to the 1980 "Resurrection of Godzilla" draft. Personally, I don't think this was ever really a thing, but that's just my belief, I can only back it up with circumstantial evidence, it has never been properly addressed by anyone in the know.

I'm going to bet that it's very likely heading in that direction, since he's going to be fighting Hellish versions of King Ghidorah and Destroyah in the 4th issue, I'm betting issue 5 is where he'll have his epic final showdown with the Lord of HellΒ himself.Β
