Height: 100 meters
Mass: 50,000 metric tons
Bio:
Rising from a MONARCH facility built deep in the jungles of the Amazon, the mammalian kaiju BEHEMOTH, also known as “Mapinguary,” rose when Doctor Emma Russel’s MUTO PRIME experiment was unleashed upon the world with the help of the newly reformed Red Bamboo terrorist organization. Like the other Titan Class kaiju, MUTO Prime, aka JINSHIN MUSHI (the Centipede Dragon), called to Behemoth as part of the broader plan to “seed” the other Titans with Shinomura spawn and unleash them upon the world.
Taking part in the Battle of Boston, Behemoth, along with SCYLLA, METHUSELAH, and the LEGENDARY GODZILLA became embroiled in a battle royale, ending the threat of MUTO Prime, but revealing to the world that a new breed of kaiju now ruled, and yet as old as the planet itself.
Abilities/Aspects:
- Tremendous strength
- Tusks are nearly unbreakable, can plow through whole buildings
- Huge claws can carve through stone and steel
- Natural burrower
- Prehistoric seeds and pollen trapped in fur recreates ancient, radioactive plant species.
- Other abilities as yet unknown

I’ve seen a lot of people compare Behemoth to giant ground sloths, given that it awakens in Brazil and has a knuckle-walking posture, but, given how Titans like Scylla can hop continents, I’d like to imagine this one as a super-sized chalicothere that swam across the Atlantic millions of years ago when Africa and South America were still somewhat closer.
Beyond Kong and others in the same mold, you don’t really see too many mammalian kaiju, which is a shame, because there’s plenty of cool prehistoric lineages to draw inspiration from.

We only just saw him, Scylla and Methelusa, of course we don't know their personalities yet.

Off course (Angurius is my second favourite kaiju, period, and I have little doubts he'll show up in the Monsterverse should it continue).
And honestly I don't have any faith in Ultraman, Gamera or Unused kaiju to ever show up as much as I would love them too. The legal issues would be hell for that to happen.
But I also love that the franchise is branching out with new kaiju, Franchises should evolve afterall. The Behemoth here is such a delightfully weird design (Ground Sloth, Tapir, Mammoth thing for life!). I could totally picture him as a dumb brutish, nature loving fellow.

I actually quite like Godzilla 2014. It was a nice introduction, sure the human characters needed work, but I actually found Godzilla's lack of screen time gave the movie a more mysterious aura, and it makes the moments he does show up all the more interesting.
The Mutos were also very interesting in my opinion, they are far from the greatest kaiju ever made, but their gangly appearance really makes them look freaky, and helps them stand out amongst Godzilla's long list of kaiju.
Ultraman and Gamera are owned by entirely different companies, and so far only Toho and Universal have agreed to put their monsters in this universe. Getting those two companies on the project would take a lot of discussion and money.

I think I have a theory of why you jumped on Godzilla Earth and I miss Behemoth, is that you didn't know that kaiju would face Godzilla Earth to replace the city of Mechagodzilla and King Ghidorah to create your original Godzilla NEO story, isn't that it? Cool! I definitely would have wanted to have seen Godzilla fighting three fellow Titans who almost rival his own power under the control of the progenitor who preyed on his own kind. I imagine Behemoth would act as the brawn of the three rival Titans but I do not know what roles Scylla and Methuselah play until their NEO profiles are uploaded. My one concern is that their abilities may not be as cool or useful as they should be, especially when facing the Alpha Predator Godzilla. Some ideas for both would be Scylla possessing Ice-themed attacks and Methuselah possessing Earth-based attacks, maybe using molten magma as well.

So in the Neo timeline Godzilla and the three new Titans fought against Muto prime. Perfect way to use the kotm events. I thought Fire Rodan might have sneaked into your Kotm events.

Love this series! You know what would be awesome really obscure additions to Godzilla Neo? The Thing (the tentacled tooth-maw space creature from the US poster for Godzilla vs. The Thing meant to trick movie goers that Mothra was some mysterious horror) and the Tricephalon (the 3-headed snake cyborg thing from the Godzilla vs The Tricephalon Monster board game).

cant wait for more Monstervers monsters, however, I am also hoping for a 3-way Godzilla battle between Neo super Godzilla, Legendary Godzilla, and Shin Godzilla. honestly, though I would say L Godzilla in overload mode would definitely be able to kill the other two...hmm cant wait to see your version of the JINSHIN MUSHI/Muto prime. cause an insectoid armored version of King Ghidorah would look quite cool. ever think of doing a How to draw kaiju book cause I would buy it in a heartbeat.

What's interesting is that the director of Godzilla: KOFM wanted to create a mammal kaiju companion to Kong since there are way too many monsters based on reptiles, insects, etc. I really do like that idea and I love this new monster design. Guess why a lot of people like this one particular monster out of the new monsters they threw into the movie. Behemoth really stands out in a good way.

Wow!! Behemoth looks so badass in this artwork!!! I like the glyphs/engravings on his tusks, that gives him a spirit/deity vibe!!
And I see that here MUTO PRIME is the main menace instead of King Ghidorah, LOL.

him teasing Gamera was a part of Giant Serizawa being an april fools joke. similar to how, when he released the Bride of Godzilla Neo for this april fools, he teased Borodan, a kaiju that doesn't actually exist

Huh. I was wondering how you would handle Ghidorahs role in KOTM in Neo ... and turns out that the simplest way is to take Ghidorah, Rodan and Mothra out. Simple, but effective. Kudos.
