Ah, a wonderful retrospective on the series...and with size comparisons to boot! For some reason, I find the fact that Garugaru's size is scaled up only 99 times to be hilarious for some reason. It's like he's saying, "Screw you other x100 types! I'M BIGGER THAN YOU!"...Great either way.

Well, what can I say? It's been a helluva ride. It had great moments and awful ones. Some good, some passable, some mediocre. Prettymuch everything imaginable.
I think that "Hit or Miss" analogy works best. There's some great ideas here and in my opinion, some awful ones. Once again, I fear it ends on a somewhat unsatisfying note, but as a whole, it's seen a lot of improvement from start to finish. I notice a taper from the original "X-TREME raptorization" motif to more of a general reinventing of the series, which definitely helps. It definitely has its own genre in mind.
While the whole God worship the fans seem to lay on it prettymuch automatically makes me look for things to criticize, and I do genuinely believe some of these things just crashed and burned, as a whole it's a unique take on the series, and I suppose I've been taking it too personally at times.
Of course I still think the bulk of your DA fanbase is intolerably stupid. >>
