Anyway, my opinion is that I personally havent been convinced that the famous Godzilla-to-Zilla name change is true, and therefore I also call the 1998 creature by the name of Godzilla and the 2004 creature by the name of Zilla. Some people don't like that I have this opinion/belief, but what do you think?

Well the rights to Godzilla reverted back to Toho, so they own everything. They then changed the name of the creature itself to Zilla. I mean fans still refer to him as: American-Godzilla, '98 Godzilla, G.I.N.O or just simply Zilla. the One we saw in FW likely held no relation to the '98 version. but the name change is official for all future installments with this creature.

Thats true, Toho owns everything, but I just havent been convinced that Toho has actually renamed the American creature. I've been convinced that Zilla is a separate character from Godzilla (1998). Yes, Zilla (2004) has no relation to the 1998 creature. I agree that the name Zilla might go for all future installments with the creature (but not for all earlier ones), unless something changes of course.

Im looking forward to witnessing this fight, Im really interested as to how Zilla will put up a decent fight, though I have a feeling that Matt will do both monsters justice in this battle to make it believable.
I actually love the GFW battle between Godzilla and Zilla, it was realistic in my opinion, Toho themselves wanted it to go that way.

This comic fight will probably be much greater than the awful GFW-fight. The Final Wars fight was far more ridiculous than realistic in my opinion, and I'm not even sure what Toho actually wanted or didn't want. Anyway, I have high hopes about the IDW-fight and that it will do the Zilla (2004) character justice since it's awful introduction and creation in 2004.

Well, we all have different opinions. Personally, I'd want the fight to be longer and to end differently, and I'd also want the CGI of Zilla to be much better, more professional like the CGI of the 1998 film. I mean the CGI in Final Wars was awful, but I'd also kinda say it's so bad it's good, almost at least.

1. I have never heard Toho confirm a name change for the American Godzilla species, which have several characters: Godzilla, Godzilla (Junior), Baby Godzilla, Cyber-Godzilla and the Japanese parody creature Zilla.

1. I may have lost in your eyes, but not in mine. To some I lost, to some I didn't, it's all about opinions really. In my eyes, my opponents lost when they proved how ignorant they were, and that was pretty much confirmed when they couldn't use anything more than rudeness, insults and repeating things as a last defense. When people start behaving badly, that is usually a sign that those people have lost. I kept myself calm, and left when my opponent became unable to have a real argument/conversation without behaving badly. Reason can not be used with them. 1. That is only evidence that the Zilla (2004) character is its own character while all American Godzilla-characters prior to 2004 are and will always be named "Godzilla". I'm sorry but the opportunity to change the 1998 creatures' (Godzilla, Godzilla (Junior), Baby Godzilla, Cyber-Godzilla) names expired in 1998. 1. Yes it is. Those copyrights have expired, the copyright of Zilla has not, but that still doesn't make them the same character nor monster. The character Zilla and its copyrights were created in 2004 as it's own creature, a new kaiju in the Godzilla universe, and they have no connections to Godzilla (1998) or Baby Godzilla (1998). Zilla (2004) and the Japanese Godzilla do not exist in the same universe as the American Godzillas in the 1998 film and tv-series. They all exist in alternate universes with no official continuation or connection with each other.

He made a Zilla wiki site in an attempt to take down Wikizilla, made several YouTube accounts under the names "Niko Tatopolus","Nicholas09862" and "JackassJunior627" to overglorify himself and is desperate to shove his lies down everyone's throat and convince them that everything he says are "facts" when he knows they're all fan-based.
