Goku is the only stupid one, and even he wouldn't need to stay there after the fight
There's no way just Godzilla would be able to win against so many DBZ characters

Godzilla's Atomic Pulse would kill all of them with Radition. It's not a matter of Power, but science, the only character that would be able to withstand the rads would be Freeza, Cell and Buu

If so, do you really think he'd have enough time to pull it out? He never uses it as the first thing in the fight
Goku's and Vegeta's speed is hundreds of times superior, and their physical strength too
They'd most likely kill him before he could even try to get a hit in
And if this pulse isn't the breath, then what is it?

The Atomic Pulse is a giant and defensive wave of Nuclear Energy.
Also, Godzilla survived a Black Hole and Lava, and the later can kill Goku like any normal being(As seen in Dragon Ball Super.), Godzilla has also an amazing regeneration, even if he was vaporized he would come back. There is also the fact that his guts and blood are very radioctive too.
Goji has different Incarnations, his strongest being the Burning Godzilla(Would kill all the Z-Fighters because it's in Meltdown and is a walking wave of Radiation.), Final Wars Godzilla and Shin Gojira(Which would kill all Z-Fighters too because of the radiation.)
