THIS PIECE IS FREAK'IN AWESOME!!!! i don't know where to start on how EPIC this piece is. i will strongly, strongly agree with everyone here in saying that these two look absolutely, extremely BADASS! they just look so beastly and awesome, its beyond words to describe it. you really really get a sense of the action when you look at this piece, its like you are there watching it or something. the colors are just simply phenomenal, i mean never has colors looked so awesome and vibrant on something. you keep on besting yourself every time you draw something. i was wondering why this scene looked so familiar. THIS should be the new cover. really really phenomenal job Matt! pieces as EXTREMELY awesome as this make it clear that kaiju were and are the best things to ever come out of Japanese culture. though i think some would disagree and say it was the school girls lol

really cool. i love how close it is to the actual dvd cover... but it also somehow reminds me of the videogame "Godzilla; Save the Earth" for xbox and ps2.

Wow, cool. So this picture was made as cover for a Godzilla Against Mecha-Godzilla Trade paper back? Is it a Manga, or is it a new American comic like those IDW comics your working on? And is the comic an interpretation of the first Millennium Kiryu movie, or is it an original story?
But the picture itself is quite awesome looking, the fight is very dynamic, and I like that you included Kiryu's arm blade, that thing didn't get as much use in the movie as it should have. It was used at close range and then it broke. This is really showing how awesome it can look.
