The Ultraman vibe is strong with this one.
That old archetype we see all the time in henshin hero series, and almost nowhere else. That faceless, walking elemental mass.
Loving the color scheme here. The blue contrasting the reddish violet really makes it pop.

This thing reminds me of Bizaamo from Ultraman Tiga, except Bizaamo was a coral/amoeba-like life form while this thing is a crystal-based lifeform.

actually a 24 character roster i think is the same roster size as mortal kombat, which i felt was a little lacking. So i think they could go for a few more

I remember on the kaiju combat forum that they had a contest or something for designing new kaiju designs for the game. Do you know if they are still accepting new ideas or are they closed off now?

i like it man. i usually feel these kind of creatures with no kind of facial composition are kinda lacking emotionally . if that makes sense. this one works pretty well i find. what would be rad is a giant bayonetta style face on the mid section

Interesting design, being inorganic and crystaline looking. Thing is, body shape ans motivation aside, Crystalline Kaiju is a thing you can only spin so many ways and have it be unique, and with both Space Godzilla and Krystalak already, it seems like the niche is already filled. Oh well then, it's just hardly my favourite, we'll see what other's make of it and if makes the final cut.
