it just hit me about a hour ago that the Skull crawlers were adapted form the 2 armed lizards from the original king Kong. heres hoping Samuell character will acutaly live threw this film they do not have a good track record with dinosaur like creatures.
i am just glad kong is not a Chimpanzee as they scare the crap out of me. keep up the good work man.

I hope this means that we'll be seeing more and more art with KONG. I'd certainly love a few illustrations, including some splashes of him fighting Legendary's GODZILLA. A colored illustration of Kong & Godzilla fighting, one colored solo of illustration of Kong posing of wading through flames, and one of Kong battling all the monsters of Skull Island would be those that I'd recommend.
If you think about it... Kong & Godzilla are the last two Gods, the last two Kings, the last Titans of their species. Both ancient, powerful, dominant, Apex/Alpha Predators who are the sole representatives of their species.

It's a prequel to Kong: King of Skull Island, which is meant as a prequel ( and also sequel )Β to the 1933 Kong. So it is the prequel of a prequel. Which does not really explain the lack of Death Runners and the different Sauropod Design in that movie.

Good question. Mammals are generally illsuited for gigantism, indeed no Synapsid ever became truely gigantic. At leat not land dwelling forms.

That lizard looks like the one that Son of Kong fought in the second movie. It would have been great if Peter Jackson followed up on Son of Kong remake.
In either which case, I am looking forward to the new movie series of Kong.

Man, I'm so excited for this film. I want to gather some friends during premier day, go to a theater that's playing it, and all as one start doing the Kong chant from King Kong vs Godzilla.
