I dunno if it was an intentional move on the game developers' part, but this creature reminds me a lot of the skeletal remains of a certain extinct species in Subnautica.

Any idea if they intended it as an obscure reference of some sort?

Katsu is a creep; not soul what's so ever just like that punk he works for. If making the world right in the eyes of human is destruction then dammit I'd let mother nature do its natural job and take destruction up that way.
Not by the way these monsters do it.

Still doesn't make up the fact he's killing people as a crutch to rejuvenate the world. He's actions have no justice and real effect; especially when you're living in a world of Kaiju? What he is living in is nothing, but a fantasy.

Just want to say that kaijus are also agents of nature, but than I realized that kaijus in Nemesis universe were made by and to serve the sick "justice" of a certain alien race

I don't where it implies that, most kaiju are made through the destruction of man and take their anger out on human kind or are just going by natural instincts. You take a look at Rodan "natural instincts" take a look at Godzilla and Anguirus "anger out on man kind" or they could just favor total destruction, kaijus like Baragon and Bullton and even Red King enjoy that.

Well, actually I was referring to Rulers of Earth canon there. Actually, the only kaijus that assumed to enjoy destruction are Tyrant and King Ghidorah. Most of them are just acting in their own instinctual drive. Even Red King is actually just a bit territorial

Red King doesn't always act territorial, the monster is usually aggressive to anything and does tend to start fights over nothing. If you look at his fight with one monster, after Red King defeats it he then goes to attack Science Patrol before they even do anything. The original Baragon enjoyed destruction, it had no real intention of finding a nest or anything it just caused havoc and then you have Gaira who not only caused havoc out of aggression, but also ate people and then there was Gatanozoa who caused nothing, but destruction and then you have Banilla and Aboras, two monsters that represent only destruction and then there is Barugon, Gyaos and Iris from Gamera and then also there is Zedus and then there is the 2001 Godzilla and 84 Godzilla along with 91 Godzilla including the early Showa Godzilla. There are a lot of kaiju in Tokusatsu lineage that do enjoy destroying things and there is a lot that proves my point. Rulers of Earth is no exception either; Manda and Zilla at first caused destruction for no reason and Gaira did as well. Then to top it all off you got Destoroyah, just a monster of pure evil and no remorse for anything, but just loves to see things suffer.

Baragon wreaked havoc because he was starving, iris and gyaoses went mad because there's somehting wrong with their programming and might be just the side effect of being a GMO, Manda was controlled by the devonian. You see, you are looking at the monsters in humanity's eyes. Oh yes, I forgot about Gatanozoa or other conquering monsters. I should say that it's quite difficult to know whether a monster is truly evil, neutral, or good, since most of them just serve their purposes. Destroyah is....uhm, just wanna say that he (they?) are simply mindless killing machine, but I remember that they took a sick pleasure when dropping Jr. from sky to ground.

Welp, now we know that Katsu is a sociopath, and likely to be a villain. Any man willing to murder someone with a family out of hand like that is not someone to trust with anything. Nor is the General to be trusted.

Nemesis Prime's head reminds me of the old 1994 American Godzilla movie. Of course, fortunately she's dead whereas he was just sleeping.

...... sighs. So far dude all i am seeing is bullshit in this story. Dead girl without any rhyme or reason. And now this stupidity.
Seriously, there was no reason for killing him. No reason at all. Just cause evils. Its just bad writing. They are gonna finance these guys staying here. Considering we have a giant mummified demon there, it would be insignficiant to jsut finance that dude and his family. Or just tell him how important this in. Fuck, tell him that if he goes back his family could be in danger cause who wouldn't want data on the giant mummified demon?
THIS is pointless stupidity that would in fact risk exposure more than anything. Cause suddenly you have to try and cover up why this guy is dead, why they cannot get the body back because there would be no explanation the giant ass hole just put into his head.

WOW. Much judgement, no context, eh? Holy man, that is some grade-A aggression you're bringing to the table. What, did we kill your dog or something?
Either way, try actually reading the book. I know this is hard to believe, but "stories," these things with plots and character and arcs, tend to reveal information over time. I'd love to know where you're finding these comics that give every single detail of the story, characters, plot, and twists in one page.

wil ladmit i am guess i am just confused bout the little girl thingy.
however when it comes to just shooting a guy like that, that makes no sense. it is more likely to cause trouble than either paying him to stay or giving him a reason to keep it all secretive. they now have to completely cover up his death.
there really is no motivation going on over here than to make the general look like a badguy and to create some moral ambiguity with that other character. it is not a good way to establish characterization. It is simply characters being stupid for the plot. Maybe that is the fault of the story from which this comic is derived, but still, its lazy.
Though i do think you sorta botched the scene to begin with. Why the hell would he be standing completely sideways when he would have seen the gun being exchanged? Why wouldn't he be facing the asian guy, confused or afraid?
Also his head to have jerked to the left. Because the spray of viscera would force his head in that direction.

*whistles* Hoo boy. I wonder what it's like...to not be able to enjoy anything? To be constantly tearing things apart because you don't understand them? And then to claim some sort of expertise because you happened to watch a few videos on the internet that pick apart movies.
Man oh man. Well, to save time, here's the short version: it is incredibly easy and cheaper for the military, and the government, to claim that a soldier was killed in a training accident (which happens all the time) and pass the family off onto welfare from some veteran's program. Easier, cleaner, and simpler, especially for the government.
Secondly, and this is some Comics 101, so tighten that sphincter: the way the page is set up, it's simply a better angle to have him being shot from the side that head-on. It makes for a more dramatic image - they were both facing the general, then Endo turns and shoots. For the other soldier to turn and face him would require another panel to establish the change in position, otherwise the image would be incongruous and jarring. sometimes you go with what you feel the best angle could be, even if it's not completely 100% realistic as possible, which of course doesn't happen in your little world.
Granted, none of this matters because YOU have already decided that you're right and I'm wrong, literally regardless of anything I could ever say.

The little girl, named Maigo, was killed by her father cause she knew he killed her mother.
The General is the kind of man who will do whatever it takes to ensure America stays on top.
I strongly advise you read the Project Nemesis series of books before you cast judgement. They've really REALLY good

See, this is generally what security clearances are for in the US Military. I get the feeling that the General is either planning to use this windfall to back a coup, or create unauthorized terror weapons. Either way, I really hope the karma fairy hits him with something long, agonizing, and ultimately terminal.
