i dont think he's a rip off per sey. he's a copy. there's DOZENS of copies of godzilla in cartoons and TV shows. plus the show gave full respect to the character. he's a giant dinosaur who destroys cities, fights monsters to protect his lands, and has allies in high places.

Brilliant work; this brings back a lot of memories from my childhood of watching Rugrats after school - Reptar been one of the characters I looked forward to seeing before I'd even learned about the Japanese Godzilla.
